A quick tale 37

Ambition

"What do you want to be when you grow up?", they asked her.
She looked around. Amma carrying a pan of sand on her head. Appa hammering away at rocks. Her younger sister playing in filthy mud dangerously close to the building that her parents were helping build.
What did she want to be when she grew up? Not this. Definitely.

"Doctor..." she replied..
"Collector.." her sister replied for the same question.

Yeah, They are now building the new collectorate, after the hospital project got over last month.

Hello Ammani..I always enjoyed reading u r blogs..to be frank u dont have the "AMMANI EFFECT" in your latest blogs..I guess its a time for you to stop writing the "quick tales"....As u had covered almost everything..It's from my point of view...

Ammani's original with tjsnathan's comment make an awesome QT.

And I dont agree with the "time to stop writing" comment. Writings usually strike a chord in us. Just because some don't doesnt mean the writing has to end. Its all about perspectives.

Keep them coming Ammani.
