A quick tale 47

Pseudonym

He wrote under his wife’s name. So they called him Mr. Wifesname. Funny, considering his wife was referred to as Mrs. Husbandsname.

I actually recall an incident in school where my principal called out my teacher's husband as Mr. wifesname. We also call one of our relatives like that - 'Wifesname' Mama! :-) Imagine something like Kalyani Mama if you may! ;-)

I dunno... I think Sujatha's wife would be referred to as Mrs.Sujatha since the name has now practically become his name! :D

Well I don't see this making the list of Sujatha's " ennakku piditha Kavithai" :-))))))).

And guys there is 'Indira' Parthasarathy too. Heard of him?

mmm...is this in anyway connected to the "This is not a quick tale" post? I guess I'm missing smthg :)

Tilottama: Indira Parthasarathy doesn't qualify since he has also attached his name there. If he had used a pseudonym of "Indira" then that would have qualified him.

There are quite a few other Tamil writers who come up with this male-female pseudonyms but both names are randomly picked and no relation to their or spouses' names.

Maybe there is depth of thought here.

But such play of words is trite. And am sure you can elevate your levels to your other QTs

tilotamma - No I studied in Chennai! BTW, you have an interesting blog. That too on Bangalore Nagaratnamma who did so much to organize the Aradhanai. Got me to dig up an article and blog it.

badri - ouch! wonder how sujatha will translate this one! :-)

Btw, i would always wonder whether lakshmi narayanan was Mr. or Mrs. or Ms??? ;-) Sounds like Ramani Vs. Ramani.

Sometimes people get branded. Mrs. Spiderman and Mrs. Superman, like that.

you know in chennai how many Xerox shops we have. Most of them have Canon Copiers. Still they are called Xerox shops. Hardly people realize that Xerox is a copier company name.

Thats the art of becoming something or someone.

Badri - we have to agree to disagree here. I don't buy your argument ( though I buy books from your nice store)

Oh also the writer of Appusamy - Bhagyam Ramaswamy would fall under the category you mention.
Dad's name + mom's
