Two ps and an o
Funny how it all comes back. Mrs S. English lesson. Eighth standard. Opurtunity. Yes, like that. With one p and an u. She made you write the word over and over again. And the whole class laughed at you. After all these years, here you are writing a thank you note to a friend for the dinner last night. Please give us an opurtunity to reciprocate your hospitality, you type and it rushes back to you like it happened yesterday. You spend the next few minutes staring at the screen. And quietly, very quietly you click the send button. Before allowing yourself a little smile.

Yay you're back!!!
Welcome back...
Yes and you shift from Malayalam medium to the English medium in the 6th Standard, and you write n-o-m-b-e-r for 'number' and the Maths teacher reads it out to the whole class and the whole class laughs and you make up your mind that you will never...NEVER...give anyone a chance to laugh at your English and slog and slog and slog...till you end up with a Masters in English and teach students...never once insulting them for their ignorance...Life...Sigh.
lol spell check takes care of everything nowadays......nobody knows how 2 spell anymore....
dirty jokes
our English teacher gave 4/10 for a good essay and we'd feel puffed up on getting it.Like the teacher who made you write opurtunity over and over again thes hard to please variety did help us improve.these days parents would want to put a strict teacher in place.
