7. L.V. Prasad. I think B.Rangan mentioned it on his Iruvar post or something! This was also a question asked in a recent Anna Univ quiz in January when I was in Chennai.

By the way, I just went through their website. I think LAFTI is a way to sustain poverty. They seem to complete whatever little the government's flawed policy failed to ruin -- sustaining subsistence farming. This will only stagnate yields, keep the farmer poor and render farming an non-viable profession. Further, they seek contributions for 'organizing' protests. I would have found it funny had I not gone there from Ammani's blog.

I'd encourage people to actually take some sticks and beat them out of existence.

Blogeswari: Heh.. you got it right. But Loyola college days are long past. Loyola kku apparam nadula IIT, then United India Insurance oda Staff training college in Nungambakkam, then again to IIT and now, after being orphaned again, the QFI is meeting this coming weekend at the Veta (formerly Vivekananda Institute) Learning Center in Madley Road, T.Nagar :)
